It’s rare that one gets an opportunity to meet a talented photographer, a talented film maker, a talented teacher, a great musician, a comedian, a technical nerd and a freaking all-around cool person. Now imagine how rare it is to meet a person who is all of those things rolled into one! My buddy Kevin Good, who you’ve seen around here before, asked me to help him shoot a video shootout comparison of the Nikon D800 and the Canon 5D Mark III. After begging EVERYONE who had the new Canon if we could use theres, I ended up buying one myself at Photoshop World from MidWest Photo Exchange. We got started on what was supposed to be a warmish clear Friday that ended up being drizzly and cold. We shot all day Friday and part of the day on Sunday. Kevin took over all the edits along with the help of his brother, Paul and my useless handholding.
